Positioned for Success: CarolinaPower Grows its Team in Columbia
As CarolinaPower, a leading, employee-owned regional electrical contractor, continues to expand its capabilities, services, and geographic footprint, the company is strategically adding staff at all four locations across South Carolina. Most recently, CarolinaPower brought on Jake Creese as Operations Director in Columbia, and Alison Gamboni as Project Manager, also in Columbia.
Bradley Michie, who was recently promoted to Senior Director of Operations for the company, noted: “The Columbia office has experienced tremendous growth and momentum over the past 12 years, evolving into a key contributor to CarolinaPower’s success, particularly in the commercial and healthcare sectors. As Operations Director, Creese assumes responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Columbia office, which has served the Midlands region of South Carolina up to the North Carolina border for nearly 20 years. The branch’s project experience reflects all of the company’s key markets – industrial, commercial, healthcare, federal and higher education. Creese has 15 years of experience in both construction equipment and manufacturing operations, most recently serving as Columbia branch manager of a national crane company. Creese pursued a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration following four years of active duty in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer.
As Project Manager, Alison Gamboni brings more than 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry in the same markets served by CarolinaPower. Having worked for both general contractors and electrical contractors, Gamboni has a strong understanding of onsite operations, documentation control, quality/safety compliance, and team coordination. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin Stout Polytechnic.
