SouthCon Building Group Promotes Drew Kay to Project Manager

Charleston, SC — SouthCon Building Group, a full-service general contractor based in Mount Pleasant, has promoted Andrew (Drew) Kay to project manager. As assistant project manager for the past three years, Kay has helped SouthCon successfully deliver a wide range of commercial, industrial and institutional projects in the Lowcountry and Midlands regions of the state. This includes SouthCon’s award-winning project for Southern First Bank – a new regional headquarters facility at 80 Calhoun Street located in the heart of Charleston’s historic district.

A graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management, Kay’s professional certifications include OSHA 30-hour training, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) instructor. Kay is currently pursuing American Institute of Constructors (AIC) certification.
