Eldon Gowens Joins Carroll Daniel Construction to Lead New Greenville Business Unit

July 22, 2020 | Greenville, SC – Carroll Daniel Construction Company is expanding with a new location in Greenville, South Carolina, and Upstate construction industry veteran, Eldon Gowens, has joined the team to lead the effort.  As Vice President and Division Manager, Gowens will be responsible for all aspects of Carroll Daniel’s Greenville office. Carroll Daniel’s Greenville team will serve both private and public markets, with a focus on industrial sectors.

“The Upstate has a strong manufacturing and industrial base, a growing economy, and a strong workforce, making it a strategic target and logical growth opportunity for Carroll Daniel,” says Brian Daniel, President and CEO of Carroll Daniel Construction.  “Eldon Gowens is the perfect person to lead our team as we expand our presence in South Carolina. He has deep industry knowledge and trusted relationships across the Southeast that will allow us to broaden our reach and extend our services to a wider range of clients and geographic areas.”

Gowens’ experience in the construction industry spans over 25 years, managing construction projects and construction business development for some of the biggest names in the industrial marketplace. His past experience is extensive with concentrations in manufacturing, automotive, paper, packaging, film, and building products markets.

Gowens earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.  He currently resides in Greenville.
