Emerging Tech Trends Identified in the Annual Construction Technology Report

by GroundBreak Carolinas Staff on January 19, 2019

Once again this year, construction industry technology leader JBKnowledge released their annual construction technology report, The Tenth Annual Construction Technology Report.

JBKnowledge surveyed nearly 3,000 builders on their construction technology solutions, staffing and budget to learn how technology is being used in the industry.

The annual report is relied upon by thousands of construction industry professionals to benchmark their company’s standards for technology budgeting and adoption, and track rising trends in software and apps. Prior years’ reports have become a mainstay for construction publications to delve deeper into the business side of construction by speculating on the IT resources driving these trends and the shape of technology to come.

Leading industry organizations in the construction industry believe in the insights provided by the Annual ConTech Report as well. The survey and report are sponsored by influential organizations MCAA, NECA, and CFMA; the country’s largest Construction Science Department at Texas A&M University, and renowned construction news source; ConstructionDive.
