Portal Warehousing Expands Presence to North Carolina

by Portal Warehousing on August 8, 2026

The 70,400-square-foot facility brings Portal’s small warehousing model to the Raleigh-Durham Triangle

Portal Warehousing (Portal), a leading, vertically integrated micro-bay industrial platform specializing in small warehousing and co-warehousing solutions, announces its expansion into North Carolina with the opening of a new 70,400-square-foot location just outside of Raleigh at 3200 Gateway Centre Boulevard in Morrisville. Portal’s newest space joins others in New York, Minneapolis, Orlando, and Salt Lake City in offering flexible warehouse and logistics facilities for a wide range of tenants, including e-commerce brands, enterprises, small businesses, trades, and logistics providers.

“We’re thrilled to bring Portal’s micro-bay model to the Raleigh-Durham market,” said Alex Morrison, CEO of Portal Warehousing. “North Carolina’s growing small business and enterprise community deserves options that meet them where they are in their journey, supporting their ability to scale operations without rigid or restrictive structures. Our all-inclusive pricing covers everything a business needs, delivering real cost savings without long-term commitments.”

The property was formerly an office call center, repositioned into a warehouse under its existing zoning with added loading docks and a full interior renovation. Portal Raleigh features a variety of industrial amenities, including dock-high and grade-level doors, logistics equipment, daily carrier pick-ups, and shipping and receiving addresses. A dedicated on-site manager is available to assist with inbound and outbound shipments.

Portal Raleigh  offers small, turn-key warehouse units ranging from 140 to 2,500 rentable square feet (RSF), complemented by private and shared office spaces starting at 85 RSF. Short-term and flexible lease options include terms spanning six to 18 months, with private move-in ready units allowing tenants to be up and running the same day. Located within one of Morrisville’s premier flex and industrial parks, Portal Raleigh has immediate access to I-40, facilitating easy transportation throughout the Raleigh-Durham Triangle. The space is also less than 10 minutes away from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), an ideal location for businesses with frequent shipping or travel needs.

The Raleigh opening comes on the heels of Portal’s strategic partnership with GCM Grosvenor, a global alternative asset management solutions provider, to continue scaling its small warehousing operation nationwide. Portal’s portfolio covers over 450,000 square feet across 10 locations, with future expansion under development.
