Members from across the Carolinas return to ABC Carolinas Annual Construction Convention each year to connect, celebrate and advance their businesses with the latest industry, political and technological insights.
The 2025 ABCC Construction Convention will be held in Myrtle Beach from August 6-8, 2025, at Embassy Suites by Hilton – Myrtle Beach Ocean Resort. The theme for the members-only event is Behind the Hardhat: Collaboration in Construction.

Convention Overview| Wednesday, Aug. 6 – Friday, Aug. 8
Pre-Convention activities begin early on Wednesday, August 6, with a Golf Tournament at The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort. Registration for the golf tournament begins at 8 a.m.
Convention registration opens at 3 p.m on Wednesday. The Convention will officially kick off Wednesday evening with a Welcome Reception at 5:30 p.m at Seaside Vista.
The following two days will feature a variety of speaker sessions and panel discussions. Get ready to be inspired by a dynamic keynote that introduces the Fighter Pilot Mindset—a powerful cognitive model designed to drive growth, sharpen focus, and elevate performance across sales and support teams. Friday’s speakers will bring more education and inspiration. Check out the bios of all of our speakers.
Special Activities: Thursday’s activities include an afternoon FLEX mini-golf and mingling event, a Legislative reception, and Barefoot Queen Sunset Cruise.
Note: The Vendor Showcase is a great way to learn about new products and meet additional industry partners—with an opportunity to win prizes at the end of the Convention.
The convention will adjourn at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 8.

- Keynote: “FLASH” with Afterburner. “Flash” Bobbi Doorenbos is a dynamic leader with nearly 25 years of distinguished military service and extensive leadership experience. A trailblazing fighter pilot, she logged over 1,300 hours in the F-16 and MQ-1, supporting operations like IRAQI FREEDOM and NOBLE EAGLE. She held key roles at the White House, Air Force HQ, and National Guard Bureau—including Special Assistant to Vice President Biden and Wing Commander of the 188th Wing.
