In 2024, it’s essential to consider the critical shifts that have shaped the landscape of recruiting and retention.
One of the most significant findings in this year’s report is the increase in HR spending, which has risen from 1.3 percent of net service revenue in 2023 to 1.6 percent in 2024. This growth highlights the industry’s ongoing commitment to securing top talent, recognizing the critical importance of investing in human capital to drive business success.
Additionally, the 2024 report reveals a notable shift toward transparency in compensation practices. In 2023, none of the firms surveyed reported that their employees had access to formal compensation data. However, by 2024, 15 percent of firms have taken significant steps to provide all employees with access to this crucial information.
