ABC Carolinas Chapter Announces Amy Sullivan Hicks as New President/CEO
Charlotte, N.C., April 29, 2020 – The Board of Directors for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas (ABC Carolinas) announced today that Amy Sullivan Hicks has been named the chapter’s new President and CEO. Sullivan Hicks will assume her new role on Monday, May 4, 2020.
With a construction and development industry career that spans more than 20 years, Sullivan Hicks was most recently the Director of Business Development for ECS Southeast. An active member of ABC Carolinas for the past eight years, she has held leadership positions with several professional organizations including being a founder and serving on the Executive Board of CarolinaBUILT; serving on the Board for NAIOP; and serving on the Executive Board for Mecklenburg County Council Boy Scouts of America – currently as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Her professional accolades include being named the Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors’ 2013 Corporate Associate of the Year and being nominated as one of the Mecklenburg Times 50 Most Influential Women, Class of 2016.
Sullivan Hicks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from UNC Charlotte.
