ABC Carolinas Elevates Two Individuals to Expanded Roles, Reintroduces Key Staff Members
Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC Carolinas) has promoted Mandy Allison to Director of Business, and Jonna Turner to Director of Membership. As Director of Business, Allison will oversee operations and financial growth. As Director of Membership, Turner will drive member engagement across the Carolinas.
These promotions reinforce the organization’s mission to serve and advance the merit shop construction industry across both North and South Carolina. The merit shop philosophy is the belief that people and companies succeed based on free enterprise principles within the free market system, which is characterized by open and fair competition and diverse participants.
“Mandy and Jonna have already shown incredible dedication and impact within ABC Carolinas, and we’re thrilled to see them grow into their expanded roles,” said Christi Powell, President and CEO. “Their passion and commitment have been instrumental to our success, and we can’t wait to see them soar as they continue to lead and elevate the construction industry across the Carolinas.”
In tandem with announcing the promotions, Powell took the opportunity to reintroduce existing team members, some of whom have strategically enhanced roles.
Grace Miller has moved from a marketing role to North Carolina Membership Coordinator, supporting Charlotte and Triad members, while Sam Koch continues as NC Membership Coordinator for the Triangle and Coastal regions. As Director of Chapter Events, Pamela Freeman leads the planning and execution of impactful ABC Carolinas events across the Carolinas. Sara Breeggemann, Director of Workforce Development and Safety, will continue to champion workforce development efforts.
“Our staff positions – new, expanded and existing – reflect ABC Carolinas’ commitment to deepening our impact in key areas, including government affairs, workforce development, membership, and business operations,” said Powell.
With a renewed focus on advocacy, education, workforce, and community, ABC Carolinas continues to be a driving force for progress and opportunity in the construction sector.
Check out one of their newer programs, the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program, which is shaping the next generation of construction leaders. It offers mentorship, jobsite tours, and meaningful professional development for emerging talent under 40.
