ABC Carolinas Honors Brian Gallagher with Kirby Award
At its 2022 Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards, the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas recognized and honored Brian Gallagher of Graycor for his service to the organization with what the association describes as the chapter’s most prestigious regional award — the ABC Kirby Award.
“ABC Carolinas’ highest achievement award, the Kirby Award, was named after Tom Kirby. Tom was the epitome of what ABC stands for,” said Chris Moore, president of CarolinaPower and incoming ABC Carolinas Chairman. “His lifelong dedication, personal passion, and professional pledge to the construction industry, truly made him a champion for ABC. He talked the talk and walked the merit shop walk. We are thrilled to announce Brian Gallagher, Vice President Corporate Development at Graycor, as our Kirby Award Recipient for 2022!”
Gallagher joined ABC’s Baltimore Chapter in 1993, and the Carolinas Chapter in 2009. He served on the ABC Carolinas’ Board of Directors and was Chairman of the Board in 2017. During his service to ABC, he has also served as Upstate SC Council Chairman, led committees and initiatives including government affairs, workforce development, marketing and membership recruitment, the Annual Carolinas’ Construction Conference, and the EIC Awards. Gallagher is Vice President, Corporate Development for Graycor, a national general contractor.
