Williston Lamar Dye, FAIA

Dinos Liollio, FAIA
For Dinos Liollio, FAIA, design originates through the eyes and stories of communities, creating the narrative for regional architecture, based on subtle and restrained design rooted in context, culture and collaboration. Dinos Liollio’s approach, which exalts context, culture and collaboration, delineates his work and demonstrates the enduring value of his designs. In 2016, in recognition of 40 years of design excellence, contributions to the profession, and sustained public service, Dinos’ firm became only the 9th South Carolina firm to receive the Chapter’s prestigious American Institute of Architects Firm Award. This is the highest honor that can be bestowed a South Carolina firm and reflects the high caliber of Dinos’ work and nearly 100 international, national, regional, state and local design awards, including 35 AIA regional, state and local design awards.

Michael S. Watson, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C
Michael Watson is a founding principal of Watson Tate Savory, with offices in Charlotte, NC, and Columbia, SC. Prior to Watson Tate Savory, Michael was a Senior Associate with Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback and Associates in Atlanta, gaining a strong background in project planning and design. While with TVS, Michael served as project architect on a number of large projects, including the award-winning 1315 Peachtree Office/Library in Atlanta and the 23-story Carillon Office Tower in Charlotte. Engaged in the community, Michael has been an active member and leader in the American Institute of Architects, the US Green Building Council and the Society of College & University Planning, among other organizations. Early in his career he worked in London and later studied at Clemson’s Charles E. Daniel Center for Building Research and Urban Studies in Genova, Italy.
