AIASC Recognizes Excellence in Architecture with 2020 Design Awards Program
The American Institute of Architects, South Carolina Chapter (AIASC) recently announced the 2020 recipients of the annual AIASC Design Awards. The program encourages and recognizes design excellence throughout South Carolina, and promotes public awareness of the role architects play in shaping the quality of life in their communities. This year’s awards ceremony was held virtually on December 3, 2020.
Jury Chair Frank Harmon, FAIA as well as fellow jury members: Dennis Stallings, FAIA, Sara Glee Queen, AIA, Edwin Harris, AIA, Bill Askey, AIA and Katherine McGurn, Assoc, AIA, all based in North Carolina, presented awards for new construction, interior architecture, adaptive reuse, and residential design categories.
