Attentive.ai Secures $30.5 Million Series B to Accelerate AI Innovation in Construction

by Attentive.ai on November 12, 2025

New capital to accelerate product innovation, deepen Beam AI’s core AI capabilities, and expand beyond takeoffs into estimating and bidding workflows.

Attentive.ai, the company behind Beam AI, a trusted AI-based takeoff platform for general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, today announced a $30.5 million Series B funding round led by global software investor Insight Partners, with participation from Vertex Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, and InfoEdge Venture Fund, bringing the total funding to date to $48 million. The new capital will accelerate the development of next-generation AI products and support expansion into new markets.

As vital infrastructure builds, industrial facilities, and data centers enter aggressive rollout phases across the U.S., construction companies face immense pressure to deliver more projects, faster. Yet, while AI has transformed other industries, preconstruction – where every job can be won or lost – still primarily relies on manual takeoffs and spreadsheets. Attentive.ai is changing this dynamic with AI-native workflows that can redefine how estimators, project managers, and business developers operate.

Beam AI, Attentive.ai’s AI-driven takeoff platform, streamlines preconstruction workflows for over 1,100 companies, significantly reducing manual labor while delivering 100% automated takeoffs across major construction trades and outdoor services sectors. With Beam AI’s human-in-the-loop model, estimators get completed takeoffs and measurable productivity gains without adding headcount. By removing repetitive, manual work from the estimating process, Beam AI allows contractors to rapidly accelerate bid volume while enabling teams to focus on strategy and win rate improvement.

“Our mission is to be the most trusted preconstruction platform,” said Shiva Dhawan, Co-Founder and CEO of Attentive.ai. “With this funding, we’re accelerating our AI model development and product innovation across the entire preconstruction lifecycle, from takeoffs and estimating to bidding and collaboration. We’re building the foundation that will power the next decade of growth in construction.”

“Attentive has established itself as a clear category leader in AI-driven construction takeoffs,” said Nikitas Koutoupes, Managing Director at Insight Partners. “Its combination of advanced AI with human-in-the-loop QA delivers immediate ROI—helping customers save time, bid faster, win more projects, and boost productivity. What truly stands out is the team’s product vision, customer-centric approach, and strong founder leadership. We’re thrilled to partner with Attentive on this next phase of growth.”
