by GroundBreak Carolinas Staff Report on August 11, 2023

CarolinaPower, a leading regional electrical contractor with four offices in South Carolina, has been named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for the sixth consecutive year. CarolinaPower ranked among the Medium-Size Employers.

“As a truly employee-owned company, we operate under the philosophy that engaged employees create satisfied customers and drive our company’s ongoing growth. Receiving this award six years in a row tells us that our people are consistently demonstrating CarolinaPower’s core values, both peer-to-peer and to our clients.” said Chris Moore, President of CarolinaPower.

Now in its 18th year, the Best Places to Work in South Carolina survey-and-awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. SC Biz News created this awards program in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

CarolinaPower joined a prestigious list of the state’s top-notch employers at the special Best Places to Work in South Carolina awards dinner on August 10, 2023 in Columbia.

About Best Places to Work in South Carolina Program – Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
