CarolinaPower Ranks in Top 5 Best Places to Work in South Carolina

by Joan Krause, GroundBreak Carolinas on August 11, 2019

CarolinaPower was honored as one of South Carolina’s Best Places to Work for the second year in a row by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce at an awards dinner and reception in Columbia on August 1, 2019.  This year CarolinaPower ranked No. 4 in the Large Employer category (250 or more U.S. employees). Of the 75 companies from across the state to be recognized, CarolinaPower was the only specialty contractor in any category to make the list.

“The 2019 Best Places to Work employee survey results validated what we already knew… that our people truly believe in our company motto, “The Power to Serve,” and seek to reflect our company values in all that they do. They are the ones who make it a great place to work, and I am very proud of them,” said CarolinaPower President and General Manager Chris Moore.

One comment in particular exemplifies the common theme among the company’s employees who responded to the survey: “CarolinaPower exhibits its business philosophy of the Golden Rule. We treat each other, our clients, our community, the way we would want to be treated.  That philosophy makes us want to be our best and strive to extend that to our daily lives – work and personal. It’s a Great Place!”

Carolina Power is a leading employee-owned electrical contractor serving industrial, commercial, healthcare and federal market sectors in the two-state Carolinas region. The company has four offices in South Carolina and a field force that exceeds 100 crew members.
