CarolinaPower Recognized as a Best Place to Work in South Carolina

by Joan Krause, GroundBreak Carolinas on August 3, 2018

CarolinaPower was honored as one of South Carolina’s Best Places to Work by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce at an awards dinner and reception on August 2, 2018. One of just 75 companies from across the state to be recognized, CarolinaPower is the only specialty contractor to make this year’s list in either of the program’s two categories – Large Employers and Small/Medium Employers. CarolinaPower ranked in the Top 20 in the Large Employer category (250 of more U.S. employees).

“This was our first year to be recognized as a Best Places to Work and I am so proud of this achievement. I believe this accomplishment is a direct result of our employees reflecting the values of our firm – the power to serve, the pursuit of excellence and an entrepreneurial spirit,” said CarolinaPower Vice President and General Manager Chris Moore.

Carolina Power is a leading employee-owned electrical contractor serving industrial, commercial, healthcare and federal market sectors in the two-state Carolinas region. The company has four offices in South Carolina and a field force that exceeds 100 crew members.

View the complete list of the companies honored along with their rankings as Best Places to Work. Additional details can be found in the August 2018 issue of SCBIZ magazine.
