Carolinas AGC Announces Staff Changes
The Carolinas AGC recently announced several staff changes geared at increasing staff involvement with members.
Amber Andrews, CAGC Director of Meetings & Events, has decided to step down from CAGC . Chelsea Andujar, who previously served as the CAGC Membership Coordinator, effective Sept. 1st, now is our Director of Meetings & Events and continues to serve the Young Leaders group.
Ed Paat, CAGC Director of Non-Dues Revenue, will resign from CAGC, effective Sept. 8, to serve as President & CEO of Catherine’s House, a Belmont-based, non-profit organization that provides temporary housing to homeless women and children. Meantime, CAGC is actively searching for a qualified candidate to fill this position; in the interim, Allen Gray will assist with sponsorships for such CAGC events as our annual CAGC Clay Shoot and the CAGC Annual Winter Convention.
GAGC also announced that Carolyn Reynolds has a new title of Meetings & Membership Coordinator/Executive Administrator.
“While we’ll miss Amber Andrews and Ed Paat a lot, we are proud of them and wish them the best as they tackle their next goals in life,” said Dave Simpson, CAGC President & CEO. “With Chelsea Andujar stepping up to the plate for meetings and events development and Carolyn Reynolds taking on new duties, CAGC will continue ratcheting up our value for our CAGC members as we continue providing them with more of what they want – helping solve the workforce shortage with our Build Your Career program, excellent representation in the Statehouses in Columbia and Raleigh, as well as D.C., increased networking with more quarterly events throughout the Carolinas, and new member benefits.”
