Carolinas AGC Welcomes Whitney Williams as SC Director of Government Relations and Divisions

Carolinas AGC (CAGC) announces that Whitney Williams has joined the association as South Carolina Director of Government Relations and Divisions effective July 7, 2025. Leslie Clark will continue in her role as CAGC’s COO and will also assume a new role as VP of SC External Affairs.

Williams comes to CAGC from the Outdoor Advertising Association of SC where she had served as Executive Director since 2020. She has an extensive history with the South Carolina General Assembly, having worked as a contract lobbyist and in the office of the SC Speaker Pro Tem. Beyond the South Carolina Statehouse, Williams is well known at SCDOT, having worked closely with their staff in her previous role.

Leslie Clark said, “I am excited that Whitney is going to join team CAGC! She is extremely well-connected and respected politically, as well as with all our affiliate groups, and will do a fantastic job in this role for our members. She will be a nice addition to the CAGC lobbying team in South Carolina.”

Williams is from Woodruff, SC and is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She lives in Lexington, SC with her husband Tyler and their daughter Ollie.
