CarolinaPower Named a Best Place to Work in South Carolina for Eighth Year

by GroundBreak Carolinas Staff on September 19, 2025

CarolinaPower, a leading employee-owned, regional electrical contractor, has been named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for the eighth consecutive year. CarolinaPower has a total of four offices across South Carolina – Greenville, Columbia, Charleston, and North Augusta – with plans for opening additional offices in North Carolina.

Chris Moore, President

“Once again, we owe this award to our employees, who make CarolinaPower a great place to work as they relentlessly focus on safety, customer service and quality,” said Chris Moore, President of CarolinaPower. “The words, ‘Our people are our power,’ certainly hold true as we celebrate 25 years in business this year.”

Now in its 20th year, the Best Places to Work in South Carolina survey-and-awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. SC Biz News created this awards program in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.

CarolinaPower joined a prestigious list of the state’s top-notch employers at the special Best Places to Work in South Carolina awards dinner on August 25, 2025 in Columbia.
