Celebrating Quality: ABC Carolinas Salutes Member Firms Earning AQC Status
ABC Carolinas congratulates all of its member firms that were named Accredited Quality Contractors (AQC) by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) last month. These 27 companies from the Carolinas earned this prestigious national credential for their commitment to corporate responsibility – documenting this commitment in five areas: Quality, Safety Performance, Talent Management, Craft and Management Education, and Community Relations, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity. Only 229 of the nation’s elite merit shop construction contractors earned the AQC credential in 2020.
The stringent criteria set forth in the AQC program includes a requirement that companies must have earned Gold-level or higher status in ABC’s STEP Safety Management System.
