Central SC Alliance Names Board of Directors and Officers for 2017-2018

Central SC Alliance, a 501(c)(3) full-service regional economic development organization and the state’s oldest regional economic development alliance, has named their 2017-2018 Board of Directors and Officers. The Board of Directors will provide governance as Central SC Alliance recruits businesses, promoting and branding the 8-County region and the City of Columbia.

Board Officers elected for 2017-2018: Chairman, Mike Brenan, Group/State President, BB&T; Vice Chairman/Public Sector, Dwight Stewart, Chairman, Clarendon County Council; Vice Chair/Private Sector, Ted Creech, Director External Affairs, AT&T South Carolina; Chair of Development, Eva Nance, Bank of America Merrill Lynch; Chair of Finance, Jim Hazel, Shareholder, Elliott Davis Decosimo.

Private Sector Board Members newly elected for 2017-2018: Lou Kennedy, Nephron Pharmaceuticals; Jeff Reeves, Wells Fargo Bank; Matt Shaffer, Blue Cross Blue Shield SC.
