Charleston’s NAWIC Palmetto Chapter Introduces 2021-2022 Board

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Palmetto Chapter of Charleston, South Carolina has announced its 2021/2022 Board of Directors.

“Some familiar faces, and some new, these women are committed to excellence in the coming year,” said Chapter President Amanda Redick, MSc, of HDR, Inc. “These women have accepted the challenge and responsibility of leading NAWIC Palmetto of SC #385 through continually difficult times. Their perseverance, dedication, and professionalism will prove to be assets for not only the local area but will also lead to success on the regional and national stages, complementing the mission of the association.”

NAWIC Palmetto’s Board term spans from October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022.

Redick went on to say, “NAWIC Palmetto would be remiss to not mention the tireless efforts of those cycling off the board this fiscal year. NAWIC Palmetto simply would not be the organization it is without these fine professionals. Words cannot express what these women mean to NAWIC Palmetto, and the personal impact each has had on the larger group.”

NAWIC Palmetto kicks off the new fiscal year with a strategic planning retreat in the coming weeks. This session will outline goals, strategy, and the overarching path to excellence. Some topics for discussion will be the newly formed DE&I team, scholarship solicitation to industry-related scholars, and ongoing professional development and education, among other topics.
