Charlotte-Based Edifice Expands Operations, Opens Charleston Office

by GroundBreak Staff Report on September 28, 2020

Edifice, the regional general contractor headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., expanded its operations and opened an office in Charleston. The company has been performing construction services in South Carolina for over 25 years and will better serve the area with a local presence. Edifice brings a new level of service to the market with their unparalleled work in both pre-construction and construction. The overwhelming majority of clients at Edifice are repeat customers, and with their “never walk away” policy in mind, Edifice will build the same long-term relationships with current and future clients at their Charleston location.

The office in Charleston serves the majority of the state, including both the low-country and the upstate. Amy Cortese focuses on building business in Charleston and the low-country, while Lisa Smith focuses on the Upstate. With this service emphasis, a presence in Charleston offers an added value to clients and partners by being close by to quickly serve their needs.

As a resident of Charleston, N. Eric Laster, Edifice CEO said “Our values at Edifice are tailor-made for the ground culture in South Carolina. We are not seeking to be a one size fits all contractor but one that fits our clients’ needs; thus, being closer to those South Carolina clients is critical in providing the highest level of service.”

The Edifice office is located at 716 Meeting Street, Charleston. Please drop by the new location to meet the Edifice team and learn more about how we are doing our part to build a stronger South Carolina. Learn more: https://edificeinc.com/charleston-office/.
