Chris Feehan Joins Waldrop, Inc. as Controller

Spartanburg-based Waldrop, Inc., a full-service mechanical contracting firm, announces Chris Feehan, CPA, has joined the company as controller. In this role, Feehan is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial affairs of Waldrop’s two main operating divisions —Waldrop Mechanical Services, and Waldrop Plumbing, Heating & Air.

Feehan comes to Waldrop following 10 years with Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG), a top 20 public accounting and advisory firm. During that time, Feehan provided audit, accounting, tax and related consulting services to construction clients throughout the Carolinas from DHG’s Spartanburg office.

A licensed CPA in South Carolina, Feehan is also a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) — an earned credential from the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals, Inc. He is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association’s (CFMA) South Carolina chapter, American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), South Carolina Association of CPAs (SCACPA), and Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas. Feehan is a graduate of Bob Jones University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting.

Founded in 1970, Waldrop has offices in Spartanburg and Greenville. Waldrop has two main operating divisions: Waldrop Mechanical Services focuses on the commercial, institutional, industrial and healthcare sectors, while Waldrop Plumbing, Heating & Air focuses on the residential market.
