Clemson Adds Fully Online Undergrad CSM Degree Option for Working Construction Practitioners
Clemson University’s Nieri Department of Construction, Development and Planning (NCDP) has launched a fully Online Undergraduate Construction Science and Management (CSM) degree option, exclusively available for working construction practitioners. This new undergraduate CSM degree option is founded on the excellent branding and delivery of Clemson Online and the long-standing expertise and quality instruction of the NCDP Department faculty and staff.
Dr. N. Mike Jackson, PE, Department Chair, told GroundBreak Carolinas, “If there was a silver lining to the Covid pandemic, I believe it may be that we learned that we can deliver high quality CSM education online. As expected, the construction industry responded extremely well to the pandemic, and with the continued help of this generous industry, Clemson’s NCDP Department was also able to excel under those difficult conditions. Building on the lessons learned, we now offer expanded opportunities for those practitioners currently employed in the construction industry to complete the Clemson Undergraduate CSM degree online while continuing to learn on the job. We now understand that this unique blending of daily industry experience and online academic learning is an ideal delivery model for undergraduate construction education.”
