Clemson’s Eighth Annual Construction Symposium Returns this Fall
The eighth annual Construction Symposium, hosted by the Nieri Department of Construction, Development and Planning, will return to the Greenville Marriott on Sept. 14, 2023. The department expects the event, which will begin with a complimentary breakfast at 8 a.m., to draw attendees from across the region, including facility owners, specialty contractors, designers, vendors and other construction industry service providers for an information-packed day of conversation, networking and experiential learning opportunities.
Brad Smith, founding principal at McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, will deliver the keynote address, titled, “Constructing our Future: The Power of Leveraging Relationships and Technology in the Construction Industry.”
The event will also feature the Be Pro Be Proud Mobile Workshop, giving attendees the opportunity to test a variety of simulators, including truck driving, forklifts and the future leaders of construction employment.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the Greenville Marriott, and the day will close with a cocktail hour until 5 p.m.
