CMiC Recognized on Constructech 50 as One of the Best in Construction Software for 2018
CMiC—the leading provider of complete enterprise (ERP) and field software solutions for construction and capital project firms—has been selected by the editors at Constructech magazine for their annual Constructech 50 award as one of the leading companies providing software, hardware, tools and/or equipment to the construction industry.
The rigorous selection process involves evaluating companies across three areas prior to consideration: revenue, customers and intangibles. Assessments in all three areas were prerequisites to the judging phase, which involved research and ongoing conversations with members of the Constructech Editorial Advisory Board as well as customers.
“Three big factors have influenced this year’s list—mergers and acquisitions, rapid-fire innovation, and a greater adherence to quality and judging mandates,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech magazine and president of Specialty Publishing Media. “This year, the list has expanded to make room for more hardware, equipment, and tool companies, although we do anticipate that the list will one day stop growing, as we expect greater M&A activity in the months and years ahead.”
In addition to the official announcement, the special Constructech 50 issue includes profiles of the winners. The judges were particularly impressed by CMiC’s expanding cloud and mobile capabilities—all built on top of a single database platform.
