Contractor Utilizes Technology for Applicant Tracking and OnBoarding

BirdDogHR, a provider talent management solutions for the construction, engineering and skilled trades industries, announced Romanoff Group selected the BirdDogHR ATS and Onboarding modules to simplify recruitment functions, automate job distribution and improve onboarding efficiency.

Romanoff Group has grown exponentially recently, increasing the number of Romanoff Group locations from six to 12 in the last four years. Bridget Folk, Corporate Recruiter at Romanoff Group, single-handedly hired and onboarded over 300 employees with limited time and resources. Romanoff Group now utilizes the BirdDogHR Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Onboarding modules to streamline and accelerate the recruiting and hiring process.

The company is thrilled with the savings they have experienced. By using the BirdDogHR ATS, and not an outsourced recruiter, to source skilled and knowledgeable talent, Romanoff Group has experienced total recruitment savings exceeding $100,000. “With the various tools that I have been able to utilize with BirdDogHR I have greatly reduced our need, and therefore the substantial expense, that comes with using a ‘head hunter’,” Folk said. The company relies on the BirdDogHR ATS to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and safely and has filled five project manager positions within a two-week time period.

Efficient hiring, for Romanoff Group, also means taking advantage of the BirdDogHR FasTrack Managed Service. The company utilizes the FasTrack system’s one-time fee to alleviate any budgetary constraint worries, as they are able to retrieve qualified talent at any time through a secure talent pool database.

Romanoff Group also implemented the BirdDogHR Onboarding module to reduce the booming company’s onboarding process time. Folk said, “Bottom line, I have found the use of BirdDogHR to be invaluable and it has cut our talent acquisition costs down dramatically.”
