Cullum Promotes Jose Monteiro to Superintendent
Cullum, a full-service mechanical maintenance and construction company headquartered in North Charleston, South Carolina, announces that Jose Monteiro has been promoted to Superintendent. Monteiro found his love of construction at an early age, helping his father build and renovate homes in Brazil.
After serving in the Brazilian Army, Monteiro worked for eight years as the Supervisor of Service and Maintenance Conservation at SENAI Company. SENAI is one of the most important institutions in the country, providing formal training for specialized workers in the areas of chemistry, mechanics, and construction. Monteiro even taught roofing and framing for a couple of years at SENAI. In 2015, after moving to America, Monteiro joined Cullum’s team. While at Cullum, Monteiro has achieved a Journeyman Plumbing credential from the United States Department of Labor as well as the Municipal Association of South Carolina. He is CPR and First Aid certified, holds an OSHA 30 credential, and has achieved his Medical Gas Installer certification.
