Freightliner Announces South Carolina Expansion
Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC), a leading manufacturer of premium vehicle chassis, today announced plans to expand operations in Cherokee County. The more than $13.9 million investment is expected to create 193 new jobs.

Established in 1995, FCCC is a division of Daimler Trucks North America LLC and currently employs more than 1,000 team members at its headquarters located at 552 Hyatt Street in Gaffney, S.C.
FCCC is a leading manufacturer of premium chassis for the luxury RV, school bus, commercial bus and walk-in van markets. As a leader in diesel and gasoline engine powered chassis, FCCC is also on the leading edge of alternative propulsion vehicle design and manufacturing, including propane, natural gas and all-electric chassis.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits and a $200,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant for building and site improvements.
