Construction Materials Prices Increase and Construction Starts Jump 10%
Construction input prices increased 0.4% in July compared to the previous month, according to an Associated Builders and Contractors analysis of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Producer Price Index data released today. Total construction starts moved 10% higher in July to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.1 trillion, according to Dodge Construction Network.
CIRT Sentiment Index: Third Quarter 2024 Released
