Rob Clark Joins Gilbane Federal Division to Expand Business Opportunities with the Federal Government
Gilbane Building Company is pleased to announce the addition of Rob Clark as Client Account Manager for Gilbane’s Federal Facilities U.S. Business Unit.
Rob is a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), most recently as the Commander of the Wilmington (NC) District. In this position, Rob led a team of more than 430 military and civilian personnel executing an annual budget in excess of $350 million with responsibility for programming, planning, and execution of Civil Works missions throughout North Carolina and Virginia. He brings a wealth of military construction and project management experience to Gilbane, where he will focus on expanding Gilbane’s presence in the highly competitive USACE market for military construction projects.

Rob received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University and is a registered professional engineer. He also earned two master’s degrees while serving in the USACE: an MA in Management from Webster University and an MA in Strategic Policies from the U.S. Army War College. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers. Having grown up in a military family, Rob is a world traveler and loves to spend his off-time doing outdoor activities and exploring new areas with his family.
