Keynote Spotlight: Clemson University’s Sixth Annual Construction Symposium – Oct. 14, 2021
United States Representative William Timmons of South Carolina’s 4th Congressional District is slated to be the Keynote speaker for the sixth annual Construction Industry Symposium offered by Clemson University’s Nieri Family Department of Construction Science and Management (CSM) — set for October 14, 2021, in Greenville, S.C. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The regional conference is to be held at the Greenville Marriott. GroundBreak Carolinas is once again the media partner for this must-attend event and 84 Lumber is this year’s title Event Sponsor. Other sponsors include Eldeco, Hill Electric and Palmetto Corp.
Timmons entered Congress in 2019 with a commitment to bring real reform to Washington. His experience as a prosecutor and small business owner inspired him to run for public office. As a state senator, he fought for accountability and transparency in Columbia. In Congress, Timmons is a voice for Upstate residents and South Carolina’s business community as a member of the Financial Services Committee. In addition to his role on the committee, Timmons was chosen by the Republican Leader to serve as Vice Chair of the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress and elected by his classmates to represent them on the Republican Steering Committee. Timmons is a lifelong member of Christ Church in Greenville and also serves as a JAG Officer and First Lieutenant in the South Carolina Air National Guard. He and his wife, Sarah, live in Greenville.
