Home Builders Association of Greenville Hires Director for Southern Home & Garden Show

by GroundBreak Carolinas Staff on August 29, 2017

The Home Builders Association of Greenville (“HBA of Greenville”) welcomes Erica Davidson as its new director of the organization’s signature bi-annual event, the Southern Home & Garden Show. Davidson will manage all aspects of the show, which draws nearly 20,000 attendees per year and is the largest home and garden event in South Carolina. The next Southern Home & Garden Show, produced by the Home Builders Association of Greenville, takes place Sept. 15-17 at the TD Convention Center.

“We are so excited to have Erica on our team. She has invaluable experience in successful show production and has a passion for it,” said HBA of Greenville’s executive vice president and chief executive officer Michael Dey. “Erica has already dived in and is eager to enhance the show for exhibitors and visitors alike.”

Davidson has previously held positions in B2B trade show management, most recently in the Gift & Souvenir vertical with Urban Expositions, an Atlanta-based publisher and show production company. Davidson attended Kennesaw State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing and an MBA in international marketing. She is a native of the Atlanta area and currently resides in Greenville.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to such an established, popular show,” Davidson said. “My commitment on behalf of the HBA of Greenville is providing the highest quality of work and service to the Southern Home & Garden Show, our association’s members, and the show’s more than 200 exhibitors and nearly 20,000 attendees.”

Companies wishing to participate in the show, or attendees who would like more information, can learn more at SouthernHomeandGardenShow.com. Early bird rates end in mid-August.
