Mashburn Construction Grows Corporate Marketing Team

by GroundBreak Staff Report on July 28, 2020

Columbia, S.C. — Mashburn Construction is pleased to announce growth and promotion within the company’s corporate marketing department.

Lee Mashburn, President of Mashburn Construction says, “Despite these very difficult times, we continue to invest in our employees.  To keep in line with our strategic goals, we are proud to promote Lindsey Culley to oversee our marketing efforts company wide. Lindsey and her team with Caroline Smarr and Hailee Ellsworth have done an incredible job working with our four offices sharing their individual talents and skill sets as Mashburn continues to service these regions.”

Since spring, Lindsey Culley has taken on the role of Director of Marketing and Communications. In this role, she oversees the marketing department as well as all company-wide marketing and communications functions. Previously serving in business development and marketing for Mashburn, Lindsey will work to create a more cohesive strategy while continuing to build the company’s public relations efforts. Lindsey currently sits on the board of directors for the Central SC Alliance Committee of 100 and serves as a committee member for CREW Midlands. She is also a co-chair of the South Carolina Economic Developers’ Association (SCEDA) Women’s group as well as co-chair for the C100 Membership Committee. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree from Clemson University. As her heart truly loves the outdoors, Lindsey spends most of her time hunting, fishing, running or being on the water.

Caroline Smarr joined the Mashburn team in November 2019 as the company’s Marketing Coordinator. She previously served as an Account Manager for a marketing and brand management company in Charlotte, NC. Her experience with project and account management, in combination with her expertise in print production, graphic design and digital media, have made her an asset to the corporate marketing team. Caroline holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University. In her free time, Caroline enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, running and being with her family.

Hailee Ellsworth accepted a full-time position with Mashburn as its first Communications Coordinator earlier this year.  Hailee will work alongside Lindsey to build public and community relations efforts. She has additional strengths in analytics, social media, and among other various marketing tasks. Hailee has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of South Carolina. In her spare time Hailee enjoys hiking and being at the beach.
