Mashburn Construction Raises Thousands for American Heart Association
With safety being a top priority of important values for Mashburn Construction employees, heart health and overall wellness are also high on the list. A team of employees, sponsors, and supporters participated in the American Heart Association-Midlands’ Heart Walk in Columbia, S.C. on Saturday, April 6 to declare their support for heart health.
Mashburn Construction announces that it was among the top fundraisers for the event. Together with its sponsors, Mashburn raised a total of $13,600 toward helping fight heart disease and stroke.
President Lee Mashburn, who currently holds a seat on the Board of Directors for AHA –Midlands, noted “With an employee base of nearly 100 across the state, it is important to ensure safety and good health for our team. The work the AHA does to raise awareness for heart health is a mission that we want to support. We are grateful for many of our subcontractors and partners who helped contribute to the cause.”

April is Mashburn’s dedicated community service month, wherein the company is engaged with multiple non-profit organizations all month long.
