Mavin Construction Hosts Governor McMaster’s News Conference Announcing 2018 Running Mate
South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster recently announced that his running mate would be one of the nation’s leading businesswomen and entrepreneurs — Pamela Evette, president and CEO of Quality Business Solutions (QBS), a $1 billion enterprise that provides payroll, human resources and tax services to companies across the country.
Construction is among the business sectors served by QBS. In fact, Mavin Construction of Greenville, S.C., a client, hosted the November 28 news conference at which McMaster made the announcement.
Todd Malo, Managing Partner of Mavin Construction, shared some background with GroundBreak Carolinas. “QBS (Pamela Evette’s company) helps us with our payroll and HR functions. The team at QBS have been great partners. We love working with them — they truly get customer service. When Pam asked if we would be willing to host the news conference, it was an absolute no brainer for us. We wanted to help her in any way that we could,” said Malo.
Mavin Construction was founded in 2012, and has grown to 25+ employees on staff. Areas of construction expertise include: Healthcare, Corporate Headquarters and Commercial, Aviation, Higher Education, Ecclesiastical, Industrial, Municipal and Retail.
QBS is headquartered in Travelers Rest, S.C., just north of Greenville in the Upstate region of the state. In business for nearly 18 years, in 2017 Quality Business Solutions, Inc. (QBS) was named one of the 40 fastest-growing companies in South Carolina by SC Biz News for the fourth consecutive year.
