McCrory Construction Promotes Barry Schilling to Director of Safety and Risk Management

Columbia, South Carolina — McCrory Construction announces the promotion of Barry Schilling to Director of Safety and Risk Management. Joining McCrory in 2012 as a Senior Project Manager and serving the last seven years as Compliance Manager, Schilling is responsible for implementing companywide safety and compliance measures among employees as well as with subcontractors on all job sites.

Barry graduated from the University of South Carolina where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. His professional certifications are numerous, holding industry recognized safety qualifications in every major category. In 2020, he was appointed Chairman of the Midlands Safety Committee for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of the Carolinas and has led McCrory’s efforts to successfully attain multiple safety awards each year. He and his wife Carrie reside in Leesville, SC.
