McCrory Construction Welcomes Brent Amyette as Business Development Manager

by GroundBreak Carolinas Staff Report on March 27, 2023

McCrory Construction, South Carolina’s oldest contractor, announced that Brent Amyette has joined the company as Business Development Manager in the Upstate office. Amyette will focus on the continued expansion of the company’s industrial/manufacturing, commercial, retail, and design-build projects. He comes to McCrory with nearly 30 years of business development and marketing experience in the Carolinas, Georgia and Virginia. Amyette has served in leadership roles in banking, technology and construction. His career history includes being a successful business owner.

“Brent is a relationship builder with a head for business and a heart for people. This mindset, along with strong ties to the AEC industry and economic development communities in the Upstate, are a winning combination,” said Stephen Cooper, Director of Greenville Operations for McCrory. “We are extremely excited to have Brent on the McCrory team.”

Amyette is a graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He is actively involved in several economic development organizations, including the South Carolina Economic Developers Association (SCEDA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and a number of county and regional economic development partnerships. Amyette also supports the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance (SCMA) and sits on the board for the Upstate chapter of the International Facilities Managers Association (IFMA).
