McCrory Construction’s Becky Brown Earns CCIFP Designation, Promoted to Controller
Columbia, South Carolina — McCrory Construction is pleased to announce that Becky Brown has been promoted to Controller. Brown recently became a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), joining an elite group of professionals nationwide. The CCIFP credential gives special recognition to individuals in construction financial management who demonstrate skill and proficiency in their field — verified through advanced education, professional experience and rigorous examination.
Brown was McCrory’s accounting manager before her promotion. She came to McCrory nearly three years ago after serving as a project accountant with another leading Carolinas construction firm. Brown received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a minor in accounting, from Saint Leo University.
The CCIFP credential is the only standard to recognize that a financial manager truly knows the business of construction, according to the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP).
