Meet the ABC Carolinas Board and Regional Leadership Council Chairs for 2026
Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC Carolinas) is pleased to announce its 2026 Board of Directors and the Regional Leadership Council (RLC) Chairs. Four of the 20 ABC Carolinas Board members are based in South Carolina, with the other 16 located in North Carolina. The RLC Chairs represent seven Councils comprising three regions in South Carolina and four regions in North Carolina. Together, this leadership group serves nearly 500 member firms in North and South Carolina.
Christi Powell, President and CEO of ABC Carolinas, welcomed the 2026 Board, noting “These dedicated leaders represent the strength, diversity, and professionalism of our membership. Thank you to each of these leaders for stepping up to serve. We look forward to another strong year advancing merit shop construction across the Carolinas.”
Scott Mayer, Construction Technology Account Executive for BuildingPoint SouthEast, has been elected 2026 Chair of the Board of Directors. “ABC Carolinas champions merit-based competition while expanding workforce development, training, and leadership programs. We connect members through monthly networking events, as well as signature gatherings like the Summer Construction Convention. Scheduled for August 5–7 in Hilton Head, SC, this year’s Convention is themed “If Not Me, Then Who?” As in the past, the program will feature knowledgeable industry panels who will tackle today’s most pressing construction issues.”
