Meet the ABC Carolinas Board Members and Regional Leadership Council Chairs for 2025
Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas (ABC Carolinas) is pleased to announce its 2025 Board of Directors and the Regional Leadership Council (RLC) Chairs. Six of the 20 ABC Carolinas Board members are based in South Carolina, with the other 14 located in North Carolina. The RLC Chairs represent seven Councils comprising three regions in South Carolina and four regions in North Carolina. Together, this leadership group serves a total of more than 450 member firms in North and South Carolina.
Kristen Powell, President and CEO of ABC Carolinas, welcomed the 2025 Board, noting “As we step into 2025, our new board exemplifies the strength and unity of our organization. Representing all seven Council areas and a broad spectrum of the construction industry, this diverse group brings invaluable perspectives and expertise. Covering two states, their leadership is crucial in driving innovation and fostering collaboration across our regions. Together, we’ll continue building a stronger foundation for our members and the industry as a whole.”
Cristi Lewis, Assurance Partner with CohnReznick, has been elected 2025 Chair of the Board of Directors. “ABC Carolinas is excited for another great year, where our members champion the merit shop philosophy to uphold excellence and fairness in the construction industry. We are committed to expanding our workforce development programs by enhancing our training efforts and resources, with a continued strong focus on supporting the next generation of leaders who will drive innovation and success in construction,” said Lewis.
Lewis continued, “Our planned monthly networking events throughout 2025 will facilitate collaboration across the industry, connecting contractor members to associate member firms supporting the construction industry. As always, a key event is our Summer Construction Convention. For this year’s Convention, themed “Building Excellence Together: The Power of Collaboration in Construction,” we will be returning to Myrtle Beach. Be sure to mark your calendars for August 6-8.”
