NAMC’s 48th Annual National Conference Coming to South Carolina this June
The National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) picked Columbia, South Carolina, as the location for its 48th Annual National Conference, scheduled for June 14-16, 2017. The conference will be held at the Columbia Marriott in the heart of the city’s vibrant downtown district. The event is designed to connect emerging and established MWBE firms from across the country, with key stakeholders in the private and public sector. The event typically draws a mix of construction and design firms, consultants, elected officials, along with client representatives from a range of government entities, universities, and large corporations — including energy, transportation, aerospace and healthcare organizations.
This year’s conference theme, “Laying Foundations that Build Stronger Futures,” focuses on expanding market presence, building relationships, broadening resources, and pursuing opportunities. The three-day program includes a number of enriching and motivational programs, and features a Welcome Reception, Women in Construction Luncheon, NAMC Night Out, a Tradeshow, and the Hall of Fame Gala.
