
Results of 2025 ASC Region 2 Student Competitions
Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Region 2 recently held its annual Student Competitions. Region 2 includes Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Puerto Rico and has seen significant growth in the annual competitions. Over 300 students on 49 teams from 18 universities competed in seven different competitions. Each competition category was sponsored by a construction industry partner that developed the problem statement, administered the competition, and selected the winning teams. Archer Western provided an AR/VR experience to engage students.
Competition Results
This year’s competition was held at Embassy Suites by Hilton Greenville Golf Resort and Conference Center in Greenville, SC. Winning teams were announced during an awards ceremony held on November 11.

The Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) is the professional association of construction educators and industry practitioners working together for the development and advancement of construction education. It promotes the sharing of ideas and knowledge and inspires, guides and promotes excellence in curricula, teaching, research and service. ASC consists of over 700 faculty from 177 institutions in 9 regions throughout the world. Graduates from these institutions fill entry-level positions as project engineers, estimators, safety managers, superintendents, BIM managers, preconstruction, document control and communication positions, schedulers, etc.
