Rich Cerretti Named JE Dunn Charlotte Office Lead
JE Dunn Construction has named Rich Cerretti as the leader of its Charlotte office, replacing Paul Fenzl who will direct the company’s regional strategy in the advanced industries and renewable energy markets.
“Rich is a proven manager and leader,” Kaufman said. “His broad understanding of business and his diverse operations experience will enhance our efforts to take advantage of the region’s significant growth opportunities and solidify JE Dunn’s industry leadership.”
Cerretti holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Purdue University and a master’s degree in finance from Georgia State University.
“With the Carolinas, I have inherited one of the most dynamic areas of the region,” Cerretti said, “and I couldn’t ask for a better team of talented, experienced professionals, many of whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I look forward to building on JE Dunn’s legacy of client services and community impact, and to generating new opportunities for our associates.”
Cerretti served most recently as east region director of finance, leading his group in managing financial planning and analysis, forecasting, strategic planning and budgeting for offices in Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, Savannah and Tampa. Prior to that, Cerretti spent seven years in operations, focusing on the higher education, healthcare and commercial office markets.
Prior to joining JE Dunn, Cerretti served as a combat engineer and company executive officer during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He plans to continue his involvement with veterans’ issues and homelessness as well as with a local chamber of commerce, as he did in metro Atlanta.
JE Dunn is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
