Sentinel Welcomes Kent White as New Chief Financial Officer
Sentinel Risk Advisors, the Carolinas premier risk management firm, announced this week the addition of Kent White to its senior leadership team as chief financial officer.
White is a seasoned financial executive and certified public accountant with extensive expertise in the insurance and risk management industry. Prior to joining Sentinel, he served a dual role as chief financial officer and chief operating officer for AgriLogic, an Arlington, TX-based provider of insurance and risk management services for farmers and agribusiness.
White brings to Sentinel an impressive array of executive finance skills, amassed during a career that has spanned many facets of management for large, multinational companies with a global footprint and multi-billion dollars of revenue.

A Tennessee native, White is not new to the Triangle, having spent the majority of his professional life here, starting with a stint as an accounting analyst for IBM in the early 2000s. His career path has taken him from selling stocks and bonds for Morgan Stanley, to overseeing insurance and employee benefit plan audits for a niche CPA firm, to C-Suite roles for risk and insurance firms.
Through it all, White has developed a leadership style that values the tenets of long-standing partnerships: trust, collaboration, dedication. As part of his chief financial role at Sentinel, White will lead surety services as head of the firm’s Surety Practice Group.
White’s professional associations include the AICPA, NC Association of CPAs, and the Institute of Management Accountants.
