Thomas & Hutton Welcomes Jennifer Gissendanner as Environmental and Natural Gas Project Manager
Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce the following new hire in its Columbia office. Jennifer Gissendanner, PE has joined Thomas & Hutton’s Environmental Department as a Project Manager.
Gissendanner earned her Bachelor of Science in Biosystems Engineering from Clemson University and her Master of Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. She brings over 19 years of project management and multi-disciplinary engineering experience, eight of which she spent managing and consulting major gas and energy projects including new gas pipeline installation, pipeline replacement, overpressure protection, meter/regulator station design, and compressor station design.
Gissendanner has managed the planning, design, and construction of high-profile, multi-million-dollar transmission pipeline projects with budget amounts between $10 and $25 million. Her professional background also includes land development and water resources engineering experience. Gissendanner will assist Thomas & Hutton’s efforts to continue to expand natural gas services across the Southeast region.
Active in the Southern Gas Association (SGA), Gissendanner currently serves as the Chapter Advisor for the Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at the University of South Carolina, providing guidance and support to a group of over 300 collegiate women. She lives in Cayce, S.C. with her husband Matt and two young sons. She enjoys sewing, knitting, reading, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves in her spare time.
