THS Constructors to Design-Build The Muffin Mam’s New Production Facility in Upstate S.C.

by GroundBreak Carolinas Staff on June 7, 2019

Greenville, S.C.– THS Constructors, Inc., one of the Southeast’s leading design-build, construction management, and general contracting companies, today announced that they have been selected by Agracel Development to design-build a new production operations facility for The Muffin Mam in Upstate South Carolina. Agracel and The Muffin Mam selected the Laurens County Speculative Building as their future home. Construction is already underway.

Recently, The Muffin Mam announced that it was investing $18.8 million to help create 114 new jobs.  The new facility, located in the Hunter Industrial Park off of I-385 in Laurens County, will be a 100,000-square-foot facility that will complement the company’s existing production facility in Greenville County.

Dana Emberton, THS Constructors President & CEO stated, “We always value helping companies grow and create more jobs within our community. To be able to team with Agracel on this project and help The Muffin Mam with their growth is something we are very proud of. Agracel is a great partner for us and the Upstate community.”

THS Constructors is partnering with MCA Architecture, Arrowood & Arrowood Engineering, Thomas Mechanical and W.N. Kirkland on the project.  Anticipated completion of the facility is October 2019.
