THS Constructors Tops Out on New Industrial Speculative Building in Greenwood, SC
Greenwood County, S.C. – (August 20, 2020) – THS Constructors, Inc., one of the Southeast’s leading design-build construction firms, continues to make progress on the new, 100,000-square-foot industrial speculative building for Greenwood County in the North Greenwood Industrial Park. Grading for the site has been completed and THS topped out the steel structure on Monday, August 3.
THS broke ground on the project in May 2020 and has cleared 35 acres next to Highway 25N in preparation for the new industrial park. The facility will be precast concrete and expandable to 200,000 square feet, with an additional 50,000-square-foot pad located at the rear of the property. The project is on schedule for completion in November 2020.
Greenwood County Council Chairman, Steve Brown, said, “Greenwood County is constantly looking to attract new business and employment opportunities for its residents. In this effort, we are pleased to partner with THS Constructors in the building of the North Greenwood Industrial Park Speculative Building. Funded by the Capital Project Sales Tax, this building and the future tenant will be a strong investment in the Greenwood County economy.”
The design-build team for the project includes McMillan Pazdan Smith, Arrowood & Arrowood, Davis & Floyd, Thomas Mechanical, and Walker & Whiteside.
