Tindall Corporation’ Joel Sheets Elected to Serve on Trade Association Board
Joel Sheets, vice president and general manager of Tindall Corporation, headquartered in Spartanburg, S.C., was elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the National Precast Concrete Association. Sheets began his term on October 7 at NPCA’s 52nd Annual Convention in Atlanta, Ga.
Tindall is a family-owned company, and while it manufactures mostly prestressed concrete products, its utility division produces underground precast concrete utility products for a wide variety of construction projects. Sheets has held many leadership positions within the division and now heads its strategic direction and business execution. He holds a degree in civil engineering from Clemson University.
Sheets has played an active role within NPCA since 2014, serving on the quality assurance committee and the NPCA/PCI joint task force. In addition to his new role on the NPCA Board of Directors, he has served on committees and board of directors for various other industry groups including the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute and Upstate Employers Network.
“I look forward to working with Joel on our board of directors,” said NPCA President Ty Gable. “The breadth, depth and diversity of his experiences within the precast and prestressed concrete industries will be a tremendous benefit to the association and our members.”
Now in its 53rd year, the National Precast Concrete Association (precast.org) provides technical, educational and safety resources to nearly 900 member companies in 12 countries, all 50 states and eight Canadian provinces.
